My YA CAST IN GOLD is now in revisions and I'm enjoying going back through my beta reader's notes, as well as my crit groups notes. I picked up a copy of Self-Editing for Fiction Writers by Renni Browne and Dave King and don't understand why it's taken me so long to read it. It's really great, and has wonderful straightforward advice on how to comb back through your manuscript.
Critiquing others work and having your own critiqued is truly the best way to improve your own writing. Well, that and reading. I really love all three! Guess that's good.
